Huax Cali was born from two worlds—Oaxaca and California. I was born in the heart of Oaxaca, in the Central Valleys once known as Huaxyacac. At a young age, I moved to California, where I spent my childhood soaking in West Coast energy. When I was 13, my father sent me back to Oaxaca, where I reconnected with my roots, my culture, and my purpose. But I never let go of that Cali state of mind.
